Police at Hythe are appealing for information after thieves took spare wheels from 42 Ford Fiesta cars.

The cars were stored in a secure compound on the Marchwood Industrial Estate, where thieves entered sometime between 6 and 8.30pm
Thursday, October 31.They also took four alloy wheels from one of the Fiestas and spare wheels from 13 Transit flat bed trucks and eight Ford
Ranger pick-up trucks. It is believed the offenders used a white Transit long wheel base Hi Top to carry the wheels from the site. The stolen items
include Transit wheels with 185/70/16 Bridgestone tyres, Fiesta wheels with 196/55/15 Continental tyres and Ford Ranger wheels with 205/70/16
Continental tyres. Police are linking this theft to a similar theft on October 4, when a similar number of wheels and spare tyres were taken from
new Fords. Police want to trace the white Transit long wheel base van used by the offenders. They also want to hear from anyone with knowledge
of the theft.

LYMINGTON POLICE APPEAL

At about p.m. Friday, October 11, three men entered One Stop, The Square, at Lymington. After they left, staff realised that £142 worth of washing
powder, shampoo and shaving gel were missing and not registered on tills. It is believed the men left towards Priestlands Road. At 2.23pm, two of
the three entered Tesco Metro in Lymington High Street. They were carrying distinctive JD carrier bags. They left by the rear exit into the Canon
Street car park, setting off the security alarm. A check of stock revealed the theft of 10 aerosol tins of Right Guard deodorant and 20 packs of
Gillette Pro Fusion razor blades with a total value of nearly £47.The first man is described as white, very slim and about 5ft 7ins tall. He is in his mid
twenties and wore a white baseball cap, worn back to front; a dark blue fleece top, dark blue jeans and white trainers. The second man is white,
stocky and about 5ft 5ins tall. He has light brown hair and wore a grey McKenzie track suit with a navy blue chest section and blue trainers. The
third man is black and wore a pink top and a grey knitted beanie hat.
